Step into a world of innovation and imagination at our Camp Explore Arcade Game Design Class, where elementary students transform into budding game designers! As aspiring young engineers, students will channel their creativity, applying their knowledge of simple machines to craft unique arcade games, complete with objectives, titles, and rules, using nothing but cardboard and classroom materials, making learning a hands-on adventure.

DAY AT THE RACES
Get ready for a week of high-speed excitement at our Day At The Races Class! In this dynamic program, students will dive into the world of speed, aerodynamics, and construction concepts as they design and build their own boxcars, gearing up for an exhilarating race day on Friday that puts their creations to the ultimate test.
STEM CHALLEGE
Welcome to our STEM Design Challenge Extravaganza, where creativity knows no bounds! Each day, students will embark on thrilling team and individual design challenges, from constructing the longest paper chain in 35 minutes to engineering paper boats that defy expectations by holding .5lb of weight and beyond. Get ready for a week of innovation, collaboration, and fun challenges that spark imaginations!
ROBOTICS
Ignite your child's passion for robotics in our Summer Scribble Robot Class! Throughout the week, students will immerse themselves in the exciting world of robotics, working diligently to design and build their very own scribble robot—an innovative creation that combines technology and creativity, turning gears and circuits into a robot that brings ideas to life on paper.
ESCAPE ROOM
Embark on an exhilarating journey of mystery and collaboration at our Summer Escape Room Class! Students have the thrill of forming their own teams, tackling grade-level appropriate challenges that blend math, engineering, and brainstorming prowess, as they work together to unravel riddles and conquer the ultimate escape room experience. Get ready for a week of teamwork, critical thinking, and exciting problem-solving adventures!
GAMES
Welcome to the ultimate Summer Games Extravaganza, where laughter, sunshine, and teamwork take center stage! In this action-packed class, students will bask in the great outdoors, engaging in thrilling water balloon tosses, relay races, and more, with each day offering new games and exciting chances to claim victory in our school courtyard. Get ready for a week of fun-filled adventures and friendly competition under the sun!
Frequently Asked Questions
What should my child wear to camp each day?
Comfortable attire and tennis shoes are recommended. Students will be going outside for recess and game class.
When does my child eat lunch?
Groups will be divided into two separate sections for lunch times. Groups 1,2,3 will eat at 11:30 while 4,5,6 will eat at 12. Each lunch period is for 30 minutes. Please pack your child a healthy lunch for each day.
Can my child bring a water bottle?
Of course. Students may have their water bottles with them throughout the day and refill them at the fountains.
What about snack time?
Children will be able to eat their packed snack at 10:30. This will also be the time for bathroom breaks.
Can I check my child out early or drop off late?
We understand situations happen or previously scheduled appointments occur. If you need to pick up your child early please email Danielle Oakley at Oakleyd@fultonschools.org or Ashley Pence at pence@fultonschools.org We will make sure your child is ready for pick up and walk them to the front office area.
Same goes for late drop off. Please email one of us and we will make sure someone is there to greet and walk your child down to their group.
